Add Sigma to your regional spray program

Each regional model follows a published fungicide and insecticide program. The Sigma Liquid Foundation Program rides in the same tank at every spray, at weekly rates sized to the interval, with the granular foundation at aerification and topdressing.

1

Start from your regional program

Pick the program that matches your region and turf. Timing and key targets follow the published BASF and Syngenta regional programs.

2

Add Sigma to every spray

Sigma Bio is a dormant suspension. Put the Sigma liquids in the tank first, then build your fungicide, insecticide or nutrient spray on top.

3

Size the rate to the interval

Weekly rate × weeks between sprays: 2× on a 14-day program, 4× on a 28-day program. Prime early with short intervals.

Warm-season bermudagrass greens · 14–28 day program

South Florida and Puerto Rico

Year-round growth on warm-season greens. The main stresses are long stretches of cloud cover, tropical moisture and heavy seasonal play, with near-daily rain from mid- to late summer.

Your tank

Calculate a spray

Tank order

  1. Fill the tank one-third with water and start agitation.
  2. Add Sigma Bio, Molasses, Microalgae, Biochar 5m, Seaweed, then K-Ferm.
  3. Build the scheduled spray on top: granular soluble or liquid nutrients, then W-A-L-E-S (wettable powders and dry flowables, agitate, liquid flowables, emulsifiable concentrates, surfactants).
  4. Water in within 36 hours. Watch for tank partners at pH 8 or higher.
Tank mixing instructions (PDF)

Sigma Foundation Program products are not fungicides or insecticides and do not replace them; they are applied as a companion in the same tank. Disease and insect product choices remain the superintendent's. Sigma AgriScience is not affiliated with BASF or Syngenta; their programs are referenced for timing only and linked at the source. Always jar test, confirm state registration, and read and follow label directions.
