Four markets, one framework

Choose a Foundation Program

Each market uses the same agronomic framework. What changes is the scheduling logic: playing surface on a golf course, the competition schedule on a sports field, service rounds in lawn care, production stages on a sod farm.

Golf Course
Pilot · Southeast bermudagrass
Organized by region, turf species and playing surface
  • Separate calendars for greens, tees, fairways and rough
  • Aerification and summer-stress timing
  • Tracks recovery, roots, moisture and annual nutrients
Golf calendar
Sports Turf
Pilot · Midwest cool-season
Organized by species, competition schedule and recovery windows
  • Preseason, in-season recovery, renovation, season end
  • Wear-zone applications between events
  • Tracks cover, recovery time, use hours and hardness
Sports turf calendar
Lawn & T&O
Pilot · Midwest cool-season
Organized by region, species and service rounds
  • Five service rounds with technician assessment first
  • Rates per 1,000 ft² with customer watering guidance
  • Phosphorus-aware product choices
Lawn care calendar
Sod Production
Pilot · Gulf Coast warm-season
Organized by production stage, from field preparation to harvest
  • Field prep, planting, grow-in, harvest and regeneration
  • Liquid program every 21 days with the farm's IPM sprays
  • Tracks tensile strength, regrowth days and waste per load
Sod calendar
From the root zone up

Built by superintendents. Backed by agronomy.

Sigma's agronomic programs team includes former golf course superintendents and turf agronomists. Every calendar starts where turf performance starts: rooting, soil structure and the biology in the root zone.

01Season order

Calendars written in the order a superintendent plans the season.

02Test, trigger, measure

Every product use is tied to a soil test, a trigger and a measurement.

03Label-checked and piloted

Reviewed against product labels and piloted before release.

How every program is built

Eight columns for every application event

One row per application event. Products with different handling get their own rows. Nothing goes on the calendar without a reason to apply it and a way to measure the result.

01Timing / trigger

Soil temperature, growth stage, weather or event schedule.

02Agronomic objective

What the application is meant to change.

03Cultural practice

Aerification, topdressing, mowing, irrigation and traffic work that goes with it.

04Sigma product

Selected only where nutrient need or a defined purpose supports it.

05Rate

Per 1,000 ft² for greens, tees, fields and lawns; per acre for fairways and rough.

06Repeat interval

Days or weeks to the next event, or once.

07Application & watering

Spreader or spray volume, tank mixing, irrigation after application.

08IPM coordination

How it fits the conventional fungicide, herbicide, insecticide and PGR plan.

Aligned with GCSAA BMPs

Built to support your facility's best management practices

GCSAA's national initiative asks every facility to document its BMPs. Each Sigma calendar row is tagged with the BMP area it supports, so a program can be referenced directly in your facility plan.
